On planet Virginia, environmental destruction resulting from human overpopulation and human activity was making irreversible changes in the environment.   They too, just like planet Earth, had turned on  Runaway Global Warming.   They, too,  had triggered the release of the 10,000 billion tons of methane frozen in their planet's polar regions.    Each year, the amount of this gas being released was increasing.   The cycle of methane release was escalating very rapidly to the level where it was close to becoming unstoppable.  The resultant changes were about to cause the deaths of billions of people on both planet Virginia and on planet Arachnia.    

Now, Virginia did not like the idea of a planet, which  shared her name, self-destructing out of ignorance and apathy.   Because of her young age she was still somewhat of a free spirit and so she sat quietly and asked Creator/God for permission bend the Prime Directive.   Creator/God told Virginia that she was indeed a free spirit and that her family followed the Prime Directive not because Creator/God demanded it, but because it was the collective choice of her society.   

So without any of the adults knowing it, on her second visit to the planet's surface, Virginia intentionally, quietly, and without being noticed, dropped and with her foot mixed into the soil, about a hundred seeds of a special, self-awareness plant in a secluded place near a large rock outcropping.   With the planting a secret success, Virginia, returned to the space ship with her parents.     The explorer spaceship remained in orbit near this sun to see if the people on these two planets would wake up and end the self-destruction or commit collective suicide.    Reference:

In about three months, these seeds grew into what looked like a garden of ten-foot-tall mini-trees.   One bright and sunny day several young adults, all members of the Harmony Music Club,  arrived at the rock outcropping with the intention camping there overnight.   As night fell they decided to cut one of the mini-trees to build a campfire and roast marshmallows.   A lively young couple named Sally and Harry did most of the marshmallow roasting, and being closest to the fire, they inadvertently breathed in some of the smoke.  

They soon began to have an incredible buzz in their heads.   When they looked at each other and when they touched of each other hands, delightful chills went up their spines.    As best they could, they describe their feeling to others who did not feel anything unusual.   During the discussion of their experience, the inhaling of smoke from the fire was mentioned as a possible cause.    Chris and Randy decided to breath in some of the smoke as a test.   When they, too, experienced the euphoric feelings, the entire group followed suit.   They all breathed  in smoke from the fire.   

Once everyone had reached the altered mental state, they sat in a circle holding hands,  and each described his or her experience.   Some described seeing beautiful pictures in their minds when they closed their eyes.   Others said they seemed to be whisked away into a land of magic and enchantment.   Sam said he felt so mellow that he simply wanted to sleep.   Jim said he felt only mildly different, while his girlfriend Susan, said she saw bad pictures and only wanted the feelings to go away.   Jim held her and coached her into focusing on a pleasant, past experience.   She soon felt better, but she still said that  she preferred to stay away from  the smoke.  

In Sally and Harry, sensuality rose to the semi-orgasmic level.   They excused themselves from the circle and for the next few minutes could be heard satisfying their passion.   About thirty minutes later, they returned to the group proclaiming that this night they had discovered what sex was really all about.   Others asked for explanations, but neither Sally nor Harry could translate their experiences into words.   The only thing they could say was that in order to know euphoric sex, you have to experience it for yourself. 

As you must have guessed by now, that night, the fruits of the self-awareness plant took root in the minds of the people of planet Virginia.   The evil spell of planetary sameness was broken.   

The group decided that this plant was so good that it needed to be shared with others, however they vowed to keep the location of the mini-trees secret, at least for a while.   They gave the plant the code name, "April Showers."  

Andrew, the son of a botanist, took some seeds, leaves, and flowers home to his dad.   Robin, the daughter of a prominent politician, Senator Carol Satyavant, convinced her parents to experience an April Shower.   Both parents were amazed by what they experienced.   As if by magic, they could see a much bigger, brighter, and clearer picture of the coming destruction of the planet they lived on.

It came to pass that Senator Carol Satyavant was the first person, and for a long time the only person, in any major political office with the courage to suggest that the economic crisis could be resolved by telling the truth about the banking industry and suggesting that all home loans be cancelled.   Being the first woman in what, up to the day of her election, had been an exclusively male organization, she was regularly ridiculed, put down, and discounted.   When she shared his vision privately with her fellow politicians,  nobody listened to her.   She offered to share the April Shower" experience, but nobody would partake of the self-awareness plant.  In utter frustration, she went on television and explained  The Banker's Financial Fairytale to the public.   

The public loved the idea, but the money interests were so focused on making more money that they could not see that they were actually committing suicide.   They ostracized Senator Satyavant and threatened to throw her out of office unless she went back on television and retracted her prior statements.   

She went back on television, but instead of retracting his statements, she called for every homeowner in her entire state stop paying their mortgage money to the banks.    Seventy eight percent of the people (about two million homeowners)  in her political jurisdiction stopped making payments.   When people in other states heard about the boycott, they joined in.    When the people declared their power, the inevitable happened.    Sixty three days later, the bureaucrats and the bankers were forced to surrender to the will of the people.   

All home loans were cancelled in a quid pro quo agreement -- The bankers forgave all homeowner mortgage debts and the people forgave the super-wealthy bankers for almost a hundred years of fraudulently charging the people, their parents and grandparents trillions of dollars in real, hard-earned money for the use of fake, make-believe (fiat) money. **m2     

The people were then able to focus on saving their planet from environmental destruction.

Virginia was mildly chastised by her culture for breaking the rules.   A few of the fellow explorers began to question the rules.  We'll save the rest of this story for another time.

On Planet Virginia, positive environmental changes rapidly followed and the people were spared from experiencing the multiple, death-dealing disasters.   

The people of planet Arachnia were not so lucky.   They refused to wake up.  They refused to let go of the idea that money was all the mattered.   Within sixty years, the plant's temperature rose by eighteen degrees.   All the ice caps melted.   The sea level rose thirty-seven feet.   Millions of square miles of coastal land became submerged.   All animals bigger that a mouse became extinct.   Ninety-nine point seven percent of the human population died.   

On Planet Virginia, the name "April Showers" soon got shortened to the single word, "Showers."   "Showers" became very popular.
