Because human overpopulation and human activity have  turned on Nature's Doomsday Machine.   We have only about five years within which to begin major changes in the way we treat the environment.   Without major changes,  every human being on the entire plane will face devastating, deadly and irreversible changes.   Even if you presently live in wealth and privilege, your money is no match for mother nature.   

This prediction is based upon irrefutable scientific evidence.   You can ignore the evidence, but if your continue business as usual and you are wrong, you've just given you children and grandchildren a death sentence.
